Pointr Synchronization and Safety
Preview and apply Pointr draft writes, validation beacons, and destructive floor-level operations.
Draft writes #
Pointr synchronization creates or updates AP iBeacon records in Pointr draft state for the mapped level. Preview the proposed operation before applying it and inspect records rejected because placement or identity could not be derived.
Validation beacons #
Validation beacons are temporary Pointr records used to verify floor alignment. They have dedicated placement and removal actions so they can be distinguished from the permanent beacon set.
Outside-polygon APs #
Allowing outside-polygon APs submits derived points to Pointr for acceptance or rejection. It does not make an invalid floor mapping safe.
Floor-wide delete and rewrite #
Floor-wide removal deletes all beacons on the mapped Pointr level, then restores retained non-validation records from the captured draft snapshot. This is a destructive operation and requires explicit phrase confirmation.
- Confirm the Spaces-to-Pointr floor mapping.
- Capture and review the preview and retained-beacon snapshot.
- Verify that the mapped level is not shared with another operational scope.
- Enter the required confirmation phrase.
- Apply the operation and reload Pointr analysis to verify the result.
